Research into the American civil-military relationship is important to understanding how the United States controls and uses its military power. Both theoretical approaches and a practical understanding of how American military personnel think and behave will lead to a fuller understanding of the U.S. military.

We have begun a project to ensure that Wikipedia has a good definition of civil-military relations and other related subjects. Wikipedia
We are looking for volunteers to work on specific Wikipedia pages to bring them up to date, to correct factual errors, and to ensure overall accuracy.
Completed research projects:
Our research into the political attitudes and preferences of American Military enlisted personnel is complete. This study was developed from the data collected from the Survey of American Military Enlisted Personnel Political Attitudes and Behavior.
